Aridgold Farm, established in 1982, is a 120-hectare property 70km south of Alice Springs. The crops grown for market are figs and dates.  The crops are grown on organic principals with no sprays used.  There are agriculture fertilizers applied as a basal application.  The farm was established from pastoral land so there would be no build up of chemicals from previous agricultural practices.  Weed control is done by mechanical means and strict quarantine practices ensure pests and diseases are not brought to the area.

We practice sound orchard management with fallen fruit gathered and disposed of to prevent the build up of insect pests.
